This delicious curry paste by Case for Cooking was inspired by an Irish apple-based curry and tastes so much better than it looks (hence the name!). Packed with loads of different spices, it's full of flavour and a medium-plus heat and comes with an easy-to-follow recipe for chicken curry.

Ingredients: onion, water, apple, vegetable oil, garlic, ginger, tomato puree, lime juice (sulphites), sugar, soy sauce (water, soybeans 24%, salt, wheat flour), arrowroot, coriander, pepper, cinnamon, turmeric, cumin, salt, chilli, anise, cardamom, fennel, cloves, fenugreek, nutmeg, allspice, caraway, Worcestershire sauce (malt vinegar from barley, spirit vinegar, molasses, sugar, salt, anchovies (fish), tamarind extract, onions, garlic, spice, flavourings), acidity regulator: citric acid.
