TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
The following Terms and Conditions apply to all sales of goods through The Cooking Plumber website (www.thecookingplumber.co.uk). By placing an order on this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The goods
The description of the goods is as set out in our website, catalogues, brochures or other forms of publicity. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that these descriptions are accurate and up-to-date, we accept no liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions.
All goods are subject to availability and we will inform you immediately if an item is temporarily out of stock when you place your order. You will then be able to request a refund, choose an alternative product or wait until the original item comes back into stock.
Prices and payment
All our prices are displayed in GBP Sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are clearly shown on our website and again at checkout. You must pay for both goods and delivery when you place your order. We accept payment by most major debit and credit cards and through PayPal. Card payments are processed through our ecommerce provider Shopify (https://shopify.com).
Placing orders
Our ordering process is set out on our website. Each step allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order. It is your responsibility to check that you have used the ordering process correctly.
We are currently unable to accept orders by phone.
Acceptance of your order
Legal acceptance of your order and the start of the contract between us will only take place once payment has been received and we have emailed you to confirm the order. You must ensure that said order confirmation is complete and accurate and inform us immediately of any errors.
We reserve the right to decline any order placed on our website, although we will always endeavour to contact you with an explanation if this is the case.
Changes to your order
We know these things happen so please email us at thecookingplumber@gmail.com as soon as you realise that you need to make a change to your order. If your order has not already been despatched, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Delivery
We aim to despatch all orders within 24-48 hours of receipt of payment. If you order on a Friday afternoon, your order will be despatched the following Monday. We may deliver in instalments if some goods are unavailable at the time of your order but we will notify you if this is the case and you will not be liable for any extra charges.
Postage for orders with a total weight of up to 2kg is a flat rate of £3.75. Postage for orders with a total weight of between 2 and 5kg will be charged at £7.50 and between 5 and 10kg at £9.00.
We use Royal Mail 2nd Class for all orders below 2kg in weight so please allow 3-4 days for delivery. For all orders over 2kg in weight, we use a courier service so please allow 2-3 days for delivery. If you require a faster service, please email us at thecookingplumber@gmail.com and we will do our best to help. Please note that we cannot take responsibility for any delays in either delivery service that are outside of our control, including but not limited to national lock down and industrial action or for delayed or mislaid items due to incorrect delivery information.
We currently only deliver to postal addresses within the UK mainland.
Missing items
In the unlikely event that an item is missing from your order, please contact us immediately and we will arrange for the missing item to be sent out to you or for the appropriate refund to be made.
Cancellation rights
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel all or part of your online order up to 14 days after you have taken delivery of the goods. You will need to inform us in writing that you wish to cancel (email – thecookingplumber@gmail.com) and you must return the goods to us, unopened and in mint condition within 14 days of informing us.
If you have ordered goods, but not yet received them, you may cancel your order at any time within 14 days of the date of placing your order and we will issue a full refund.
Returns and refunds
Faulty Goods: We hope you will be happy with the goods you order from us but in the unlikely event that the goods you receive are of an unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.
Non-faulty Goods: Unless you are returning faulty goods, and we have agreed that to be the case, you will be responsible for the cost of returning any goods to us. We reserve the right to refuse a full refund for any non-faulty goods that are returned to us in an unsaleable condition.
We are only able to make refunds using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.

Risk
Risk of damage to, or loss of, any goods will pass to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address specified in your order.

All changes will be clearly posted on this website and we recommend that you revisit from time to time to keep up-to-date. If any one of these conditions are deemed invalid or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of all other remaining conditions.
