Who are Auntie's Sauces?
Mrs Pannum, aka 'Auntie', arrived in Coventry from Delhi in 1960. Once there, she and her family set up a chain of successful contemporary Indian restaurants throughout the UK. Such was their popularity that even after Auntie had retired, people were still asking for her recipes, including the sauces and pickles that went with them.
So Auntie came out of retirement to cook again – and her range of all natural, Indian-inspired condiments was launched. She still continues to oversee quality control in the kitchen while her granddaughter Shireen and husband Gregory manage the daily operations.
